The Almeta Crawford Chargers football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Royal Falcons to 0 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellville for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Almeta Crawford will meet a Brahmas squad coming off a 24-7 non-league win over Stafford (Stafford, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 1-1.

The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Navasota (Navasota, TX). The Rattlers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Navasota bounced Madisonville (Madisonville, TX), 31-24, in a non-league challenge.
