The Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) football trounced the visiting Lamar Texans (Houston, TX), 58-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Summer Creek will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 36-0 non-league loss to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Lamar falls to 0-2 on the year. The Texans travel to Clear Springs (League City, TX) to battle the Chargers in a non-league game on Friday, September 12. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 1-1. Clear Springs won 17-14 in their recent non-league game against Heights (Houston, TX)
