In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles football squad scored a close 24-22 triumph over the Mountain Island Charter Raptors.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Pine Lake Prep was nudged by Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC), 14-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Raptors confront the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 12.
