The Casa Grande Cougars walloped the visiting North Mustangs football team by a score of 56-13 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maricopa for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Casa Grande will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 35-7 non-league win over Empire (Tucson, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, North falls to 0-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ) to face the Caballeros in a non-league game on Friday, September 12.
