The Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Tonawanda Timberwolves football squad by a margin of 49-8 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portville/Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale Central for a Section 6 C - South test on Friday, September 12.

With the defeat, Tonawanda drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Section 6 C - North test on Friday, September 12. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. Cleveland Hill lost 58-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwestern (Jamestown, NY)
