Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) followers were happy Friday as they witnessed their football squad topple the visiting College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA), 35-16 in a non-league match.

The Ugly Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, San Ramon Valley was beaten by Soquel (Soquel, CA), 21-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 13. College Park will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Pride go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 21-20 non-league win over Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA).
