The Desert Vista Thunder football team (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 55-35 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ)

With the win, Mountain Pointe advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pride travel to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ) to encounter the Mountain Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Mountain Ridge lost 54-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ)

The Thunder now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Valley Vista for a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. Desert Vista will battle a Monsoon squad coming off a 56-6 non-league loss to Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Monsoon record now stands at 0-2.
