Colorado High School Football - Smoky Hill defeated by Douglas County

September 5, 2025: Castle Rock, CO 80104

The Douglas County Huskies were victorious over the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes football team by a score of 44-16 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Douglas County will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 36-6 non-league win over Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO).

With the defeat, Smoky Hill drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Prairie View (Henderson, CO) to clash with the Thunderhawks in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Thunderhawks come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Prairie View lost 45-13 in their recent non-league outing against Northglenn (Northglenn, CO)
