El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX), 30-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, El Campo improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Ricebirds travel to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 0-2. Fort Bend Dulles lost 41-14 in their recent non-league match against Alvin (Alvin, TX)

Coming up next, the Rangers meet the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Rudder will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 42-28 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, TX).
