The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots walloped the host Lee Ganders football team by a score of 79-30 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Goose Creek Memorial will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 27-18 non-league loss to Eisenhower (Houston, TX).

The Ganders (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Sterling bounced Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 35-14, in a non-league challenge.
