September 5, 2025: Humphrey, NE 68642 Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs (Humphrey, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars (Niobrara, NE), 44-34 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Humphrey-Lindsay advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Elkhorn Valley lost 34-28 in their recent non-league battle against Boyd County (Spencer, NE)
The Cougars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Walthill for a non-league match on Friday, September 12. Niobrara/Verdigre will confront a Blujays squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Blujays record now stands at 0-2.
