The Lexington Minutemen football team (Lexington, NE), dropped 27-13 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE)

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Orangemen enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Beatrice was outscored by Crete (Crete, NE), 27-14, in a non-league contest.
