The Montgomery Red Raiders football squad scored 58 points and limited the visiting Sayre Redskins to 0 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wyalusing Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Montgomery will meet a Rams squad coming off a 14-6 league loss to Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Sayre drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12.
