The Northwest Christian Crusaders felled the host Poston Butte Broncos football team by a score of 31-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Northwest Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Badgers go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ).

The Broncos (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Paradise Honors topped Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ), 56-20, in a non-league test.
