In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars football team scored a nice 42-28 win over the Taylor Ducks.

With the win, Pflugerville Connally advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Rudder (Bryan, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Rangers go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Rudder lost 30-0 in their recent non-league battle against El Campo (El Campo, TX)

The Ducks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Lago Vista for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Taylor will play a Vikings team coming off a 22-6 non-league loss to Connally (Waco, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
