The South Lyon East Cougars felled the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings football team by a score of 49-19 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Friday, September 12. South Lyon East will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 48-20 league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).
