Missouri High School Football - North Shelby wallops Sweet Springs
September 6, 2024: Shelbyville, MO 63469 The North Shelby Raiders football squad scored 70 points and limited the visiting Sweet Springs Greyhounds to 16 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul Lutheran for a Central Rivers (8 Man) test on Friday, September 13. North Shelby will meet a Saints squad coming off a 68-31 league loss to Northwest (Hughesville, MO). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Sweet Springs drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Slater (Slater, MO) to meet the Wildcats in a Central Rivers (8 Man) test on Friday, September 13. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Slater lost 49-20 in their recent league test against Concordia (Concordia, MO)
