Pennsylvania High School Football - Wyomissing trounces Academy of the New Church
September 6, 2025: Wyomissing, PA 19610 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Wyomissing Spartans football squad scored a decisive 35-0 victory over the Academy of the New Church Lions.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA). The Vikings enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 4 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Northern Lebanon was routed by Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA), 21-13, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lions confront the Jenkintown Drakes (Jenkintown, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Academy of the New Church will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Drakes enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA).
