In Saturday's non-league game, the Wisdom Generals (Houston, TX) football squad tipped the visiting Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 50-43.

The Generals now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Bend Kempner for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Wisdom will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 29-25 non-league win over Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
