Illinois High School Football - Joliet Catholic thwarted by Glenbard West
September 6, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) boosters left the game content Saturday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Glenbard West will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).
The Hilltoppers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Fenwick went down by Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 18-6, in a non-league test.
