The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Amherst County was beaten by George Washington (Danville, VA), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Magna Vista for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14. Franklin County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 52-6 non-league win over Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
