The St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks held off the host Danbury Lakers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Crimson Streaks now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toledo Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. St. Joseph Central Catholic will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Emmanuel Christian (Toledo, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.

The Lakers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, River Valley was nudged by Highland (Marengo, OH), 3-0, in a league test.
