In Saturday's non-league game, the Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) football team triumphed over the visiting Erie Royals (Erie, PA), by a score of 37-0.

In their next game, the Cougars face the South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 13. Lake Catholic will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 28-7 league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).

The Royals (1-2) will now prepare for their game against McDowell (Erie, PA). The Trojans enter the District 10 Region 7 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, McDowell was ripped by Mentor (Mentor, OH), 50-14, in a non-league game.
