In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Millard West Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fremont Tigers.

The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, O'Gorman edged Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
