Tennessee High School Soccer - Gibson County trounced by Lexington
September 8, 2020: Dyer, TN 38330 In Tuesday's non-league game, the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN), by a final score of 8-1.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN). The Hawks go into the AA Region 7 District 14 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Jackson South Side was overwhelmed by Hardin County (Savannah, TN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
The Pioneers now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westview for a A Region 7 District 13 contest on Thursday, September 10. Gibson County will face a Chargers team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 2-2.
