In Thursday's non-league contest, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Leopards battle the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) in a 2A Area 8 contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Banks County will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Storm come into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA).

With the loss, Stephens County drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA) to battle the Lions in a 3A Area 8 contest on Tuesday, September 13.
