The Elkin Buckin' Elks topped the host Starmount Rams volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Buckin' Elks now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alleghany for a Northwest 1A test on Tuesday, September 13. Elkin will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.

The Rams (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Millennium (Mount Airy, NC). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Millennium gained a win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
