Ohio High School Volleyball - Ironton overwhelmed by Minford

Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.

The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Jeeps come into the Southern Ohio III challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, South Webster lost by Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Tigers play the Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) in a Ohio Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Ironton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Redmen come into the outing with a 2-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH).
