The Douglas County West/Concordia (Valley, NE) softball routed the visiting Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Milford (Milford, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Milford was routed by Fairbury (Fairbury, NE), 11-3, in a league bout.
