The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes football squad (Merna, NE), was crushed 42-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE)

In their next game, the Cougars face the Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE) in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 16. Central Valley will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Buffaloes enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 56-0 non-league win over Loomis (Loomis, NE).
