The Yelm Tornados football squad scored 46 points and restricted the host Union Titans to 6 in the Tornados non-league victory on Friday.

The Tornados now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Kitsap for a 3A South Sound battle on Friday, September 16. Yelm will face a Cougars squad coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to Bothell (Bothell, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Titans face the Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Union will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Thunder enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 26-20 non-league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA).
