Cold and rain factored into a game with too many errors, but FHS Hawks bats were on fire tallying 18 hits over six innings. Three Hawks pitchers--Matt Geier, Dolan Nethercutt and Everett Heim--combined to limit Manassas Park HS Cougars to 8 hits over seven innings. Zach Day for the Hawks smoked three doubles and a single, going 4-4 on the day, and scored 5 runs! Senior Will Sams cracked two doubles and a single going 3-4 and scoring 4 runs. Seven of the Hawks starters batted-in at least one run, and the top half of the order combined for 13 runs scored.
