Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), saw Potomac School's basketball squad hold off Sidwell Friends by a tally of 60-58.
With the victory, Potomac School improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to confront the Lions in a Mid-Atlantic challenge on Friday, February 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. St. Andrew's Episcopal lost 61-58 in their recent league challenge against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
Next up, the Quakers confront the Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 challenge, on Friday, February 8. Sidwell Friends will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 20-2 record after their 61-58 league win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD).
