Amador avenged one of their few losses on the year when Dublin payed a visit on Tuesday night. The Dons had suffered a 2-4 loss back in early December when the season was still young. But after waiting for a month and a half for the rematch, Amador made it count. Payton Henry had a great individual effort to beat the defense and tally the first goal of the night. Still in the first half, Payton found familiar teammate Zion Kiehle in front of the net. Zion made it 2-0. Both teams seemed to settle down and press one another for the rest of the match. Taylor Melendrez made some key stops in the goal to preserve the clean sheet and Dublin managed to keep their net clear despite the numerous attempts be The Dons. Final score 2-0. Amador will play next when they travel to Livermore on Thursday, January 31 for the second meeting of their Valley Division opponents @ 6 pm. Go Dons!
