In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers (Greenfield, IL) basketball team edged the host Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), by a tally of 47-43.

The Tigers now possess a 13-15 record. They play next when they travel to North Greene for a Western Illinois Valley bout on Thursday, February 19. Greenfield/Northwestern will play a Spartans team coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-20.

With the loss, Lincolnwood falls to 7-18 on the campaign. The Lancers host Edinburg (Edinburg, IL) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Friday, February 20. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 15-11. Edinburg won 51-43 in their recent league test against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL)
