The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) and the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN), observed South Adams's basketball team overwhelm Adams Central by a score of 70-49.

The Starfires (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Bellmont was routed by DeKalb (Waterloo, IN), 54-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Flying Jets encounter the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 14. Adams Central will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Blazers enter the battle with a 6-11 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to Lakeland Christian Academy (Winona Lake, IN).
