Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), 29-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Maconaquah improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Braves travel to Rochester (Rochester, IN) to play the Zebras in a Three Rivers battle on Friday, October 17. The Zebras go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Rochester won 49-7 in their recent league battle against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN)

The Squires now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Peru for a Three Rivers test on Friday, October 17. Manchester will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 22-14 league win over Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
