In Friday's league game, the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) football team smashed the host Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), by a score of 54-13.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Peru (Peru, IN). The Tigers come into the Three Rivers game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Peru overwhelmed Rochester (Rochester, IN), 28-7, in a league game.

The Squires now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Whitko for a Three Rivers game on Friday, October 2. Manchester will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 57-24 league loss to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
