New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Cougars come into the Hoosier Heritage challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Greenfield-Central gained a win over Western (Russiaville, IN), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Golden Bears now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hauser for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Shelbyville will play a Jets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Morristown (Morristown, IN). The Jets record now stands at 5-9.
