Washington, DC High School Basketball - Model Secondary School for the Deaf trounced by Berman Hebrew Academy
The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles basketball team (Washington, DC), was trounced 84-31 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Berman Hebrew Academy Cougars (Rockville, MD)
The Cougars (21-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Burke (Washington, DC). The Bengals come into the Potomac Valley match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Burke was crushed by Washington International (Washington, DC), 59-56, in a league match.
The Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Anselm's Abbey for a Potomac Valley contest on Saturday, February 7. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.
