"To choose a single Player of the Year, in a team that reached its heights as a well-oiled unit, is a difficult task as we were a collection that was greater than the sum of its individual parts. In light of that, there was one particular individual who performed at the highest of levels without fail in every single match. The player that brought everything together with his link-up play and reading of the field on offense and defense, is none other than Jimmy Hernandez. Jimmy stood out as one of the most accomplished and talented players in our District and we would not have had the success that we did without his contribution throughout the year. Eric Catalan, Adrian Lopez, Juan Miranda and Anthony Rodriguez all ran Jimmy close for the honor of Player of the Year, but Jimmy in his Junior year has established himself as the preeminent and indispensable player in our set-up."
