Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX), 65-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Buccaneers host Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Carroll lost 55-52 in their recent non-league bout against London (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 2. Harlingen will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
