In Thursday's non-league game, the host Mantachie Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Biggersville Lions.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles go into the 1A Region 1 game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Falkner was overwhelmed by West Union (Myrtle, MS), 13-3, in a non-league game.
