California High School Softball - Rim of the World nudges West Valley

Rim of the World Fighting Scots (Lake Arrowhead, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Scots now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Murrieta for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 3. Rim of the World will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, West Valley falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 3. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Citrus Valley won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA)
