The Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) lacrosse tipped the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 16-15 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Weddington upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 22-2. Middle Creek won 10-8 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC)
