The Neville Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Vidalia Vikings to 54 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wossman for a 4A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 13. Neville will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 69-35 non-league loss to Carroll (Monroe, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.

The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Natchez was nudged by Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS), 72-52, in a league contest.
