The Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), 80-45 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Coyotes (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Goddard walloped Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 60-51, in a non-league test.

The Lobos now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Artesia for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 15. Chaparral will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-33 non-league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
