In Friday's non-league match, the host Portage Northern Huskies football squad scored a good 31-6 victory over the Forest Hills Central Rangers.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Mona Shores Sailors (Norton Shores, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 16. Portage Northern will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Sailors enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 35-12 non-league win over Dow (Midland, MI).
