Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln Hornets (Alma Center, WI) and the host Independence Indees (Independence, WI), saw Lincoln's basketball squad trounce Independence by a score of 59-37.

With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI) to play the Mustangs in a Dairyland - Large challenge on Thursday, January 8. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Melrose-Mindoro won 57-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI)

Next up, the Indees play the Gilmanton Panthers (Gilmanton, WI) in a Dairyland - Small challenge, on Thursday, January 8. Independence will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
