California High School Basketball - Rio Hondo Prep overwhelms Escondido Charter
December 28, 2018: Escondido, CA 92027 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) and the host Escondido Charter White Tigers (Escondido, CA), saw Rio Hondo Prep's basketball squad wallop Escondido Charter by a tally of 75-38.
With the victory, Rio Hondo Prep improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Kares travel to Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Pilibos won 50-32 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
Next up, the White Tigers confront the Orange Glen Patriots (Escondido, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 4. Escondido Charter will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA).
